Full policy

All users must agree to abide by these user guidelines and sign the Go Further Discovery Agreement prior to accessing any user content on this system.

Approved Go Further Discovery users will:

1. only access the Go Further Discovery lab during authorized times and in authorized locations; possession or use of Go Further Discovery devices outside of authorized times and locations is expressly prohibited.
2. handle with care and properly maintain control of all assigned lab equipment; log off and return the Go Further device to the charging station, and place the audio device in its designated location when finished;
3. listen to Go Further Discovery audio/video content through headphones or earbuds, never through an integrated or external speaker;
4. be enrolled in a minimum of one course every 30 days in order to maintain active status;
5. direct all questions and requests regarding Go Further Discovery, along with associated applications to the facility Go Further Discovery administrator.

Approved Go Further Discovery users will not:

1. sign up for access to Go Further Discovery, then earn three unexcused absences within six months;
2. use or attempt to use a Go Further Discovery device for any purpose prohibited by applicable law or policy;
3. share their account information or password; allow anyone to use their account or password; send or receive communication on behalf of anyone else; ask anyone else to send or receive communications on their behalf;
4. use inappropriate language; send, receive, or view inappropriate images or video when communicating via the Go Further Discovery device;
5. intentionally capture or record the image, video, or audio of staff or trainers, other users, or anyone else while using the Go Further Discovery device;
6. attempt to “jailbreak” the Go Further Discovery device or attempt to circumvent any account or network limitation or security; access the internet or another user’s account, send or receive communications from any person prohibited from having contact by policy, court order, or law enforcement no-contact list;
7. use, or attempt to use, the Go Further Discovery device or application in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the device or any network or server; 
8. possess any removable data storage device (e.g., flash drive/memory stick) not issued by CoreCivic staff for an approved education or reentry planning purpose.

Any violation or failure to comply with the guidelines above will result in restriction, suspension, or permanent revocation of a user’s privilege to access Go Further Discovery and may result in additional disciplinary action.

Acknowledgement: I have read (or been read) the above and have signed the 20-09A Go Further Discovery Program Agreement form and I agree to follow all rules and requirements of Go Further Discovery.
